CBD Simplified: Full Spectrum vs. Broad Spectrum vs. Isolate CBD

There are only 3 different types of CBD: Full Spectrum, Broad Spectrum and Isolate CBD Oil. What’s the difference?

Full Spectrum CBD Oil

  • All Cannabinoids* are present in the final product and fuse together in the body to create the entourage effect*

  • Naturally contains less than 0.3% THC, not enough to exert a psychoactive “high” experience

  • 100% legal under the 2018 Farm Bill, but not advised if you must pass a drug test

  • Best for those desiring maximum effectiveness

*Cannabinoids - Naturally-occurring compounds found in the flower and leaves of the Hemp plant with benefits for health and wellness. CBD and THC are examples of “Cannabinoids.”

*Entourage effect- The result of all Cannabinoids working together in the body supports a stronger effect than isolated on their own

Broad Spectrum CBD Oil

  • Includes all Cannabinoids except THC

  • Although it does not contain THC, the remaining Cannabinoids work together to create the entourage effect

  • Best for those looking for a non-THC CBD Oil, yet with more strength than an Isolate

Isolate CBD Oil

  • Only contains CBD, no other Cannabinoids

  • Does not create the entourage effect due to the absence of any other Cannabinoids in the final product

  • Best for those looking to infuse their wellness with only CBD
